How do I use SMS commands?
Using the SMS control is easy, all you need to do is type a simple command and send it to our SMS number, all AV Booker codes must start with “AVB” followed by the command you require, for example, “AVB CHECK 05,06,07 APR 07”
Here are the codes for sending SMS:
To check the status of one or multiple dates text AVB CHECK ##,##,## MMM YY
To check the specific details of a day text AVB DETAIL ## MMM YY
To pencil book one or multiple days AVB BOOK JOB_NAME P ##,## MMM YY
To book one or multiple days AVB BOOK JOB_NAME B ##,## MMM YY
To book as holiday one or multiple days AVB BOOK H ##,##,## MMM YY
To book tentative one or multiple days AVB BOOK T ##,##,## MMM YY
The ## characters represent the days of the month, these must always be 2 digits, the MMM represent the first 3 characters of the month (please see month codes) and the YY represent the two last digits of the year. When accepting, rejecting or cancelling jobs you have to use the forward function on your phone and forward the original message back to AV Booker adding the appropriate command at the end. You need to do this so we can be certain we are dealing with the correct booking, here is how it works.
To accept a booking request forward original message adding “Space” Y
To reject a booking request forward original message adding “Space” N
To cancel a booking that’s been auto accepted forward original message adding “Space” CBack to top I Back to FAQ Homepage
